As we were putting the finishing touches on the update last night, Chad Johnson went down with what looked like a potentially dislocated shoulder or broken collarbone. Without having a diagnosis on the injury, we dropped him to 14 projected games on our draft board, reducing his value.
But it looks like it’s not an overly serious injury. Just a sprain, and Johnson says that if necessary, he could play in the team’s next preseason game.
"I heal fast, no matter what it is," said Johnson in a story posted at the team’s website. "If I can wake up tomorrow and do a pushup, I'll be able to play. Yeah, I'll be ready for the opener."
The story can be accessed at www.bengals.com.
On our board, therefore, we’re moving Johnson up to 15.5 projected games. That increases his current ranking to No. 12 among wide receivers in either the standard or PPR formats. In a TD-only league, we currently have him at No. 22 at his position.

Useful information, but how is this going to affect his time in the 100 meter butterfly?
