Brandon Marshall says his goal for this year is to catch 140 passes.
Marshall has been suspended for the first game, of course, which will make that kind of total very difficult to reach, but that’s what he’s shooting for.
Thought you should know.
Far fetched? Probably. But Marshall definitely has talent, and he’s definitely going to catch plenty of passes. He caught a league-high 57 passes during the second half of last season. Even with his suspension, he (in my opinion) is as likely as any player to lead the league in catches this season.
Marshall made the forecast/goal in an interview with a local TV station in Denver.

Talk to Steven Jackson about making huge statistical projections. Never a good sign. Just play hard football and the stats will come. John Ruppe

140 catches from Marshall along with the 2,000 yards Selvin Young proclaimed for himself this year? What is higher in Denver, the altitude or ego's?

Apparently, Travis Henry was the "highest" in Denver.
