Report: Young mentioned suicide

A Nashville newspaper is reporting that Jeff Fisher on Monday night told police that Vince Young “mentioned suicide several times.”

The article, written by Clint Brewer of The City Paper, cites police reports obtained under the state public records laws.

The development increases the likelihood that Young won’t necessarily be returning to the team’s starting lineup anytime soon. Tennessee will go with Kerry Collins this week, and it has also signed free agent Chris Simms.
