Fantasy News
The Philadelphia Eagles have ruled both Brian Westbrook (ribs) and Reggie Brown (groin) out of Sunday's game against the 49ers.
To some degree it's good news for Westbrook owners; no worries about him being a "gametime decision." It's better news, of course, for Correll Buckhalter owners, and Buckhalter could do pretty well against a 23rd-ranked 49ers run defense.
The Brown news is a bit of surprise; he was healthy last week. He was limited in practice on Wednesday then held out entirely on Thursday. Kevin Curtis has been practicing fully; he may have a larger role than the team originally planned. (Although he's not even certain to be active; the team wants to bring him back slowly.) Hank Baskett will likely start in Brown's place, as he did earlier in the year, while DeSean Jackson is the clear No. 1 wideout this week.
