Around the NFL
An article by Karen Guregian in today’s Boston Herald indicates that Laurence Maroney is being bothered by some kind of injury or off-field issue.
Maroney has struggled this year. After closing last season with a bundle of 100-yard games and touchdowns, Maroney this season hasn’t really been any more effective than the team’s other running backs, and the team has gone to a four-man rotation including Sammy Morris, LaMont Jordan and Kevin Faulk.
“I have my issues,” Maroney says. “There are reasons. I’d rather not speak about them. But there are reasons.”
