Around the NFL
The Eagles have a bye this week.
When they return, all of their injured skill guys should be healthy – Brian Westbrook, Kevin Curtis, Reggie Brown.
That will give Andy Reid a full arsenal to work with for this first time this season. It also might make it hard to keep everyone involved. They’ll still, after all, be working with only one football. DeSean Jackson, for one, could be less involved.
Bob Brookover looks at this in an article in today’s Philadelphia Inquirer.
In that article, Brookover writes that Correll Buckhalter, who played well last week, likely will play a larger role for the rest of the season, lightening the load for Westbrook.
