Saints marching with a limp

Posted Oct. 20 at 11:55 AM

Reggie Bush will miss 3-4 weeks with a knee injury, while Jeremy Shockey may have re-injured his groin in Sunday's loss to Carolina. Definitely a bad week for a team that now has to play in London against the Chargers.

With the Saints having a week 9 bye, there's an outside shot Bush will only miss one game -- but that's a pretty optimistic outlook. It's far more likely he'll also miss week 10 at Atlanta and perhaps week 11 at Kansas City. (Which would be a shame for those with Bush on their fantasy rosters, given how dismal Kansas City is against the run.) You can read about his injury right here.

Shockey was hurting after the Carolina loss and isn't certain if he'll face the Chargers. He's also not too thrilled with the team's handling of his injury. That can be seen at this link.
