Factoid
The Baltimore Ravens have had one of the league’s best defenses for the better part of a decade, but that’s no reason to sit your Bengals starters against them in week 1. Especially wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh.
Whatever the reason, Houshmandzadeh gets up for the Ravens. Over the last three seasons, Houshmandzadeh has had seven games with 9 or more receptions. Three of those have come against the Ravens, one each in the last three years. His numbers in his three seasons as a starter against Baltimore are presented below.
T.J. Houshmandzadeh (vs. Balt.)
Year Loc. Rec Yds TDs
2006 Cin. 10 106 1
2006 Balt. 3 66 1
2005 Cin. 9 147 1
2005 Balt. 5 61 0
2004 Balt. 10 171 1
2004 Cin. 7 116 0
