Updated strength of schedule numbers

Posted Nov. 16 at 10:42 PM

As I pointed out last week, watch out for the Colts. They’re starting to hit their stride, and their schedule is getting a lot easier. Indianapolis played the hardest schedule in the league through the first 10 weeks of the season. Now it’s on a six-week run of having the easiest schedule in the league.

I see the Colts as a sleeper team to potentially represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

REMAINING STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE -- WINS
Based on the combined win-loss records of opponents, the Colts, Dolphins and Raiders project to play the easiest schedules the rest of the way.
The Lions, Panthers and Giants, on the other hand, project to play the hardest schedules.
The figures below do not include week 17 games (most fantasy leagues are done at that time).

   W   L   T  Pct.

REMAINING STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE -- POINTS
Based on the average points allowed by opponents, the Dolphins, Raiders and Bills project to face the softest defenses the rest of the way.
