Question:

Five times in last 30 years, NFL teams have used first-round picks on running backs, only to see them not have any 1,000-yard rushing seasons until after they landed with other teams. What is the only team that has salvaged two of these backs?

A:

Oakland Raiders. Tyrone Wheatley was a first-round bust for the Giants, but he ran for 1,046 yards and scored 10 TDs for Oakland in 2000. Similarly, Harvey Williams didn’t do much of anything for Kansas City but ran for 1,114 yards and 9 TDs for the Raiders in 1995.
