Remember when it seemed like young guns Teddy Bridgewater, Johnny Manziel and Blake Bortles were going to be top-1o picks in this year's draft? They're the perceived top quarterbacks in the class, and there are a lot of quarterback-needy teams picking in the top 10. One could say that's why they're picking in the top 10 -- they don't have a decent quarterback.

The discussion has changed from wondering if these passers will be picked in the top 10 to wondering if they'll even be picked in the first round. If you look around at the various mocks (which are of course only guesswork) you're starting to see those passers being selected in the second round rather than the first.

Falling to that point in the draft won't augur well for their NFL chances. Over the last 20 years, 22 quarterbacks have been selected in the second round. Drew Brees is great, and Colin Kaepernick and maybe -- maybe -- Andy Dalton have proven to be quality NFL passers. The rest of them? Well, when Jake Plummer is the best of the bunch, it's not a good sign.

Second-round quarterbacks since 1994 are presented below.
