Lots of good quarterback prospects out there this year. Who do you like?
Peyton Manning and Drew Brees have put up huge numbers, but they’re both older guys.
Aaron Rodgers is in the mix.
Cam Newton has the pass-run ability, but his receiving corps has been gutted.
For career production, Rodgers is No. 1. Not in cumulative production (Brees and Manning have a lot more career yards and touchdowns) but in per-game stats.
Here’s the list of all 53 quarterbacks who’ve started for at least three years in this century. That is, all quarterbacks with at least 48 starts. Using the scoring system of 6 points for touchdowns, 4 for TD passes, 1 for every 20 passing yards and 1 for every 10 rushing yards, Rodgers has been the best.
Down at the bottom are the two quarterbacks who came out of the 2002 draft, David Carr and Joey Harrington.
