Bob McGinn's annual series about the NFL draft's top prospects, position by position, moved on to the most interesting position (from a fantasy perspective) yesterday. He talked to 20 different NFL personnel men about running backs, and not surprisingly, Todd Gurley and Melvin Gordon topped the list.

Gurley, whose biggest red flag is last November's torn ACL, drew 13 votes as the top back, Gordon 7. The article can be seen right here.

One respondent said he thought both backs were the best the draft has seen since Adrian Peterson. Another, though, notes how Wisconsin backs (Gordon is from Wisconsin) have tended to fail in the NFL.

The No. 3 prospect, according to the votes, is Nebraska's Ameer Abdullah. Some question his size and compare him to Giovani Bernard, but another likens him to LeSean McCoy.

Alabama's T.J. Yeldon and Indiana's Tevin Coleman round out the top 5.
