The Raiders haven't had a difference-making wide receiver in a lot of years, but a lot of people think Amari Cooper will change all that. Including Jerry Rice, who likens the rookie to Tim Brown.

"I think with Cooper, he's very much like Tim Brown," says Rice. "Very explosive, got speed to burn."

It's a little optimistic, perhaps, but Rice isn't the first one to talk up Cooper. Both Brown himself and Derek Carr have been praising the rookie since the first minicamp.

Certainly, there's little reason to think Cooper won't be a Week 1 starter, making him an intriguing player to consider in fantasy drafts. Oakland has Michael Crabtree, Rod Streater and Andre Holmes. Nice players, all, but none that can be considered difference makers.

Cooper put up monster numbers at Alabama last year: 124 catches, 1,727 yards and 16 TDs. Defenses focused on him but still couldn't stop him.

Next Tim Brown might be too zealous, but he looks certain to be the top rookie wideout. As we saw last year with Beckham Jr., Evans and Benjamin, those guys can help fantasy teams right away.
