I am 15th overall right now. Had a quiet week, but not so bad that I can't still win this thing. It's Thanksgiving weekend and we have a few extra games early on, so let's get started.

Details were laid out here , so if you missed that column, check it out, and then come on back here.

The contest is totally free, and it's simple. Each week you pick the best 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 2 TEs and 2 PKs (scoring system: 1 point for 10 run/rec or 20 passing yards, 6 points for run/rec TDs, 4 points for passing TDs, straight NFL points for kickers). You will be playing alongside Fantasy Index writers and subscribers, and there will be weekly prizes for the reader whose team posts the best score. Here's my Week 12 lineup.

Quarterbacks: Brian Hoyer and Aaron Rodgers. Dare I actually start Brian Hoyer in this league? I dare. The Saints are giving up yards and touchdown passes at an historic rate; nearly 3 TDs per game. Saints opponents will make a run at Peyton Manning's NFL records. Rodgers at home against the Bears on the night Brett Favre's number is retired looks good to me.

Running Backs: Thomas Rawls and Chris Ivory. I may switch off one of these guys, but Rawls is home with fresh legs on a running team against Pittsburgh, while Ivory is home against a bad Miami run defense.

Wide Receivers: DeAndre Hopkins, Odell Beckham Jr., DeSean Jackson. Hopkins is the easiest pick of the week. I don't care what New Orleans tries to do against him, they have no chance. Beckham Jr. shredded Washington last year and was solid in the earlier meeting this year. Jackson has a nice matchup against the Giants secondary. Julio Jones is another possibility.

Tight ends: Greg Olsen and Travis Kelce. I think Olsen should be pretty good against Dallas, and Kelce looks like the 2nd-best option. Only week all year I've decided against Rob Gronkowski, but Denver's defense has the ability to shut New England's offense down.

Kickers: Mason Crosby and Josh Brown. Crosby comes off a big week and is home against Chicago. Brown has been good all year and the Giants offense should be solid in Washington.

If this game required defenses, I'd be looking at Kansas City at home against Buffalo and New England against Brock Osweiler. Eagles are high on our board but it seems risky to count on Philadelphia these days.

Good luck to the rest of you.
