Question

What's the only team in the history of the league that's swept a divisional opponent in the regular season, then beaten that same team on the road in a conference championship game?

Answer

Tennessee, in the 1999 season, against Jacksonville. In the six-team AFC Central, the Titans went 13-3 and swept the Jaguars, but the Jaguars won the division with a 14-2 record. Tennessee then came in and won AFC Championship game 33-14, advancing to the Super Bowl against the Rams. So the Jaguars that year went 0-3 against Tennessee, but 15-0 against all other opponents. (And these teams play again today).
