Question

What are the only two teams in NFL history that have beaten another team four times in a calendar year? Happened in 1994 and 2011. With one of these series, the teams play again this week.

Answer

Most recently, the Packers did it in 2011, beating Chicago in Week 17 of the 2010 season (early January), then winning at Soldier Field in the NFC Championship 21-14. Green Bay then swept the Bears in the 2011 regular season. Similarly, the Los Angeles Raiders beat Denver twice in January 1994 (in the final week of the 1993 season and then again in the playoffs) and swept the Broncos in the 1994 regular season (then Denver hired Mike Shanahan, and he went 11-1 against the Raiders the next six years).
