Jaguars sign RB Blue

The Jacksonville Jaguars added veteran running back ALFRED BLUE to the team, signing the unrestricted free agent to a contract last week. Blue will join a backfield that includes fellow running backs LEONARD FOURNETTE, THOMAS RAWLS, DAVID WILLIAMS, and DMITRI FLOWERS. Blue had spent the previous five seasons in Houston.

A couple of teams signed backup running backs yesterday. The Jaguars added former division opponent backup Alfred Blue away from Houston, and the Lions signed C.J. Anderson. Both are ticketed for similar roles with their new teams, probably little-used No. 2 running backs. But results may vary.   more »

Lamar Miller questionable vs. Bengals

Houston starting running back LAMAR MILLER did not practice this week and he is officially listed as questionable for tonight’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Miller is dealing with an ankleMore injury but has said that he plans to play against the Bengals. With the game being later tonight, Miller represents a fantasy risk for his owners.
