Around the NFL: Demarcus Robinson

The Rams signed Demarcus Robinson to a one-year, $5 million contract last week, a quiet move that probably doesn't move the needle much in fantasy leagues. But maybe it should, with Robinson one of the NFL's more surprising stories down the stretch.   more »

Factoid: Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have had some nice fantasy choices this season, most notably Kyren Williams and Puka Nacua (Stafford and Kupp at times, too). But they get about the league's worst matchup for an offense this week, playing in Baltimore.   more »

Rams WR Kupp to miss season opener, headed to IR?

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said on Wednesday that star wide receiver COOPER KUPP will not play in Sunday’s season opener against the Seattle Seahawks. Kupp has been nursingMore a hamstring injury that has had his status in limbo. His status remains unclear, and it is possible that the Rams could place him on injured reserve. Such a move would mean that Kupp would miss at least the first four games of the season. With Kupp sidelined, the Rams receiving corps could include VAN JEFFERSON, TUTU ATWELL, and rookie PUKA NACUA or BEN SKOWRONEK as starters. Less

Rams WR Kupp seeing specialist for “clarity” on bad hammy

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver COOPER KUPP went to see a specialist for “clarity” on his hamstring injury and a recent setback in his recovery from the issue. Rams WR Kupp day-to-day after setback

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver COOPER KUPP reportedly suffered a setback to his hamstring injury on Thursday, leaving his status for the season opener in question. Kupp looking good in return from hamstring injury

Los Angeles Rams veteran wide receiver COOPER KUPP returned to the practice field this week for the first time since suffering a hamstring injury three weeks ago. Starting quarterback MATTHEW STAFFORDMore said after a joint practice with the Denver Broncos that “Coop looked great”, adding that he was happy to have his star wideout back on the field. After leading the NFL in catches, yards, and touchdowns in 2021, Kupp missed half of the 2022 season and was less effective when he did play. Less

Rams WR Kupp out with hamstring injury

Los Angeles Rams veteran wide receiver COOPER KUPP suffered a hamstring injury in practice earlier this week and will be sidelined as he heals. Fortunately, the injury is not expected toMore impact his availability when the Rams open the regular season against the Seattle Seahawks on September 10th. The 30-year-old Kupp has been one of the top receivers in the NFL over the past four years, but his season was cut short last year due to an ankle injury. Fantasy owners will hope that Kupp can remain healthy for the entirety of the upcoming season. Less

Around the NFL: Matthew Stafford

I saw a story indicating the Rams tried hard to trade Matthew Stafford in the offseason. It's not surprising; he has a ridiculous contract, with a lot of guaranteed money that any team would want to get off the books. It's even less surprising when you examine his play when healthy a year ago.   more »

Factoid: Davante Adams

No wide receiver in the league has caught more than 40 percent of his team’s touchdown passes in the last two seasons. I think those are the only times in league history that’s occurred. But the go-to guys have bounced back this season, with a handful of players dominating their team’s opportunities around the end zone.   more »
