Colts place TE Swoope on IR

The Indianapolis Colts placed tight end ERIK SWOOPE on injured reserve. Swoope was anticipating a breakout season after becoming an offensive option last year but he has been slow to recover from knee surgery last month. It is possible for Swoope to return to action after Week 8.
