Hull was initially placed on injured reserve and was expectedMore to miss “some time” after being injured during the season opener. The fifth-round rookie was expected to initially be featured at least in a change-of-pace role as a pass catching back. Hull will look to fully recover and join an Indianapolis backfield in 2024 where JONATHAN TAYLOR, ZACK MOSS, and DEON JACKSON are all slated to become free agents following this season. Less

The Indianapolis Colts placed rookie running back EVAN HULL on injured reserve on Tuesday due to a knee injury. Hull will miss at least the next four games for the Colts.More In a related move, the Colts promoted veteran JAKE FUNK from the practice squad to the active roster. The team is also hopeful that veteran rusher ZACK MOSS is close to returning from the broken arm he suffered in training camp.
