Cardinals release Chris Johnson

The Arizona Cardinals have released veteran running back CHRIS JOHNSON. Johnson’s release likely means that KERWYNN WILLIAMS, ANDRE ELLINGTON, and ELIJAAH PENNY will be the backups to starter DAVID JOHNSON.
