Around the NFL: Mark Ingram

Alvin Kamara is in the news this weekend, with discussion/debate over what kind of suspension he might face for an incident over Pro Bowl weekend where he was arrested and is facing felony charges for "battery resulting in substantial bodily harm." I don't know how that will play out, but I know I won't be selecting Mark Ingram regardless.   more »

Around the NFL: Tony Jones

The Saints don't have much interest in giving the media any more information than is absolutely required. We really have no idea how long Alvin Kamara will be out with his knee injury. And now we have to wonder whether Mark Ingram will be available tomorrow night, or if we should be scrambling to add Tony Jones.   more »

Reunited and it Feels So Good

Apologies in advance if the song remains stuck in your head the rest of the day. After a Wednesday afternoon trade between New Orleans and Houston, former Saints running back MARKMore INGRAM has been reunited with his former team and backfield mate ALVIN KAMARA. New Orleans drafted Ingram in the first round in 2011, and he played for the Saints for eight seasons before eventually being exiled this year to Houston. Ingram adds veteran depth in the Saints backfield. Less

Factoid: Three-back committees

Brian Flores says Miami will use all three of its running backs -- Myles Gaskin, Salvon Ahmed, Malcolm Brown. David Culley will likely do the same with Houston's backfield of Phillip Lindsay, Mark Ingram and David Johnson. Perhaps he'll even find some chances for Rex Burkhead; you don't want to leave that on the bench. Death to fantasy value.   more »
