Around the NFL: N'Keal Harry

I like Chicago’s decision to throw a late-round pick at N’Keal Harry. That roster is in need of another pass catcher, and the price is right.  more »

Around the NFL: N'Keal Harry

The Patriots gave -- sorry, traded -- N'Keal Harry to the Bears yesterday, and Harry was subsequently added in a number of dynasty leagues. In Chicago, the argument goes, there's not much behind Darnell Mooney to keep him off the field, but New England wasn't exactly sending out Randy Moss, either.  more »

Patriots WR Harry requests trade

New England wide receiver N’KEAL HARRY has formally requested a trade via his agent earlier this week. Harry has been a bust thus far in both fantasy football and the realMore version after being selected with the 32nd overall pick in the 2019 draft. Harry’s agent said that expectations have not changed since his client was drafted as an “unstoppable downfield threat” out of college, adding that “success is just around the corner”. Around the NFL: N'Keal Harry

So N'Keal Harry has formally requested a trade from the New England Patriots. This is interesting, in that Harry and his agent are apparently oblivious to the fact that the Patriots have, by various reports, been trying to trade him for the past year or more. We can find a couple of highlight plays he made as a rookie, but by any measure he's been a bust.   more »

Around the NFL: Patriots wideouts

Couple of items about New England wide receivers recently. While former first-rounder N'Keal Harry is fighting for a roster spot, former undrafted free agent Jakobi Meyers is in the mix to be the team's No. 1. A stark reminder that while the Patriots can't draft wideouts, they've had some success uncovering undrafted guys.   more »

Factoid: First-round receivers

I’m not a big fan of rookie wide receivers. There were a bunch of them selected early this year, but I think that for the vast majority of those guys, the payoff seasons will come in the future. The odds are stacked against players at this position hitting it big right away.   more »

Factoid: Late first-round wideouts

It's been an interesting couple of weeks for wideouts selected late in the first round -- both in 2019, and recent years. N'Keal Harry is on IR. Josh Doctson and Laquon Treadwell (2016 vintage) were released in final cutdowns. And Marquise Brown just won some fantasy matchups (or frustrated teams by blowing up from their bench). So did Phillip Dorsett (2015).   more »
