Chargers add Tyrod Taylor as backup QB

The Los Angeles Chargers signed quarterback TYROD TAYLOR on Wednesday as the backup to veteran starter PHILIP RIVERS. Considering that Rivers has not missed a start since taking over in 2006, Taylor is not likely to help fantasy teams any time soon.

During the 2018 season, I got more complaints about Philip Rivers than any other player. Consistently, people thought I had him ranked too low. And on the surface, that was understandable, with Rivers having thrown multiple touchdown passes in his first 12 games – there was even some buzz that he should be considered a candidate to be the league’s Most Valuable Player.   more »

Rivers to be a “Charger for life”

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback PHILIP RIVERS, 37, believes he has a few good years left and he intends to keep playing. Chargers GM Tom Telesco said this week that the teamMore will begin conversations about a new deal with Rivers during the offseason. Rivers makes history, Gordon leaves with injury

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback PHILIP RIVERS set a single-game NFL record by completing his first 25 passes against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. While that probably didn't help fantasy owners much,More his 3 touchdown passes certainly did.
