Washington not expecting Foster suspension

Washington team president Bruce Allen does not think the NFL will suspend REUBEN FOSTER for his role in domestic violence allegations that led to his release from the San Francisco 49ers. Washington claimed Foster three days after his release amid much criticism. The charges against him were eventually dropped.

Charge dropped against Foster

A domestic violence charge against Washington linebacker REUBEN FOSTER was dropped on Thursday. Foster was released by San Francisco in late November but was claimed on waivers by Washington just three days after being arrested. The team received heavy criticism and Foster currently remains on the commissioner’s exempt list.

Washington claims LB Foster

Washington has claimed former San Francisco linebacker REUBEN FOSTER off of waivers just days after he was released by the 49ers. Foster was released after he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. He will not be allowed to practice or play in games until the league reviews his arrest.

49ers linebacker Foster suspended for 2 games

San Francisco linebacker REUBEN FOSTER has been suspended for 2 games for violating the NFL’s Conduct and Substances of Abuse policies. Foster remains eligible to participate in training camp and preseason games but he will miss season-opening matchups against Minnesota and Detroit.

Foster pleads no contest to misdemeanor charge

San Francisco star linebacker REUBEN FOSTER pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor assault weapon possession charge on Wednesday. He was sentenced to two years of probation. While his recent legal troubles appear to be behind him, the NFL is said to still be mulling a potential multi-game suspension for Foster.

More good news for Foster

San Francisco linebacker REUBEN FOSTER had his misdemeanor charge for marijuana possession dismissed late last week. The dismissal came just two days after Foster had two domestic-violence charges dismissed and a weapons charge reduced to a misdemeanor. Foster returned to the 49ers offseason program last Thursday.

A judge dismissed two felony domestic violence charges against San Francisco linebacker REUBEN FOSTER on Wednesday. Foster’s former girlfriend recanted accusations made against him, leading to the charges being dropped. Foster still has other legal issues pending and has not yet participated in team OTAs.

Woman in Foster incident to recant accusations

The former girlfriend of San Francisco linebacker REUBEN FOSTER recanted her story about Foster hitting her and claimed that her injuries were actually caused by a fight she had with another woman. The woman apologized to everyone that may have been harmed in the case, especially Foster.

San Francisco GM John Lynch said that if the felony charges against 49ers linebacker REUBEN FOSTER are proven true, he will not be a part of the organization moving forward. Lynch said that patience is the right approach for now as the legal process plays out.
