Future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady said this week that veteran quarterback AARON RODGERS will be “invigorated” in his first season with the New York Jets after moving on fromMore his long-time home in Green Bay. Brady added that he thinks Rodgers is “gonna have a great year” with the Jets. If anyone knows the feeling of a quarterback changing clubs late in a career, it’s Brady. Bucs to target free agent QB Mayfield?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are reportedly expected to target veteran quarterback BAKER MAYFIELD once they are allowed to begin negotiating with free agents from other teams beginning today. Mayfield opened lastMore season as the starting quarterback in Carolina and ended the year as the starter for the Los Angeles Rams after being waived by the Panthers. KYLE TRASK is currently the only quarterback under contract in Tampa, and head coach Todd Bowles has said that the 2021 second-round pick will compete to be the starter as the Bucs prepare for the upcoming 2023 NFL season without TOM BRADY. Brady to take time before deciding on future

NFL suspends Bucs WR Evans for one game

The NFL suspended Tampa Bay Bucs wide receiver MIKE EVANS for one game for his role in a fight in Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. Evans is suspended “forMore violations of unnecessary roughness and unsportsmanlike conduct rules”, according to the league. Evans pushed the Saints’ MARSHON LATTIMORE to the turf after he engaged in an altercation with TOM BRADY and LEONARD FOURNETTE. Both Evans and Lattimore were ejected from Sunday’s game. Bucs entire offense questionable for Week #2

OK, so maybe a bit of an exaggeration. But the Tampa Bay Bucs have several key offensive players trying to overcome injuries heading into Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.More Wide receivers MIKE EVANS (calf), JULIO JONES (knee), and CHRIS GODWIN (hamstring) all missed Thursday’s practice for Tampa Bay. Wide receiver RUSSELL GAGE and running back LEONARD FOURNETTE practiced on Thursday, but both were limited by hamstring issues.
