Kansas City has brought in Andy Reid and traded for Alex Smith. Now it's re-signed Dwayne Bowe.

Those moves should help, but this is definitely a fixer-up offense. The passing game in particular.

Kansas City has thrown only 21 TDs in the last two years. That's 10 fewer, remarkably, than any other team in the league. (And the team with 31, oddly enough, is in the same state.)

With offensive numbers on the rise throughout the league, Kansas City's 21 TD passes is historically low. Only four teams have ever thrown fewer touchdown passes in back-to-back 16-game seasons.
