The Browns have signed Josh McCown, but have they solved their quarterbacking problems? He’s a 35-year-old who’s played for six different teams, but he hasn’t had much success overall.

McCown’s high-water season came in 2013, when he filled in nicely for the Bears late in the season, excelling in Marc Trestman’s offense. He completed almost 67 percent of his passes that year, with 13 TDs versus only 1 interception – he was statistically better than starter Jay Cutler.

But ultimately, it’s about wins and losses, and McCown has tended to come up very short in that arena. He went only 1-10 last year for the Bucs. Of the 35 active quarterbacks who’ve started at least 30 games, only Chad Henne has a lower winning percentage.

The Browns have McCown. They have Johnny Manziel, who’s currently in rehab. They probably won’t re-sign Brian Hoyer. But they probably still will need to add another quarterback who could start some games in 2015.
