C.J. Anderson has struggled, as everyone who drafted him is well aware. But Ronnie Hillman hasn't been much better, and it sounds like Gary Kubiak thinks the most important thing with Anderson is to keep him in the lineup.

"We have to keep C.J. on the field," Kubiak said in the Denver Post. "C.J. has been coming off the field the past three games because he's been nicked up. We need to keep him on the field consistently."

Anderson thus far averages just 2.3 yards per carry, while Hillman is at 3.1. And yet Anderson is still more likely to carry near the goal line, and he's still more trusted in the passing game (6 catches for 30 yards, compared to 1 reception for Hillman).

The linked article indicates Denver is committed to getting Anderson going. Maybe it starts against the Vikings this week.
