There's not much happening in the NFL these days, but that doesn't stop those of us in dynasty leagues with open waiver wires trying to get things started. There are trades to be mulled, free agents to possibly add, rookies and undrafted walk-ons to consider.

If you're in a league at myfantasyleague.com, you can sort free agents by most added. Here are the top ones being added across the site, currently available in my league.

Chase Daniel, Eagles. I don't really understand the appeal here. If he had any real future prospects, he wouldn't have signed behind Sam Bradford, and Philadelphia wouldn't have then given up a boatload of picks to trade up for Carson Wentz. So maybe the Eagles decide to dump Bradford somehow in August and Daniel ends up starting this year, but I can't imagine devoting a roster spot to those chances.

Eric Rogers, 49ers.The cupboard is bare in San Francisco's wide receiver corps, and a recent report had Rogers -- undrafted back in 2013, and in Canada the last two years -- as a candidate for a major role. But so are DeAndre Smelter, Quinton Patton, Bruce Ellington and DeAndrew White. Maybe Rogers is a guy you pick up and he pops in training camp, but he's a real longshot.

KaDeem Carey, Bears. Now we're getting somewhere. The Bears have Jeremy Langford and Jordan Howard theoretically ahead of him, but Langford was just so-so a year ago and Howard is a fifth-rounder. Chicago tried to sign C.J. Anderson, so it's clear they aren't sold on the incumbents (which include Carey), but who knows? No one could really be stunned if Carey found his way into half of a committee this year. Worth a roster spot in deep leagues.

Mike Gillislee, Bills. Yes, he's available; I actually dropped him myself back around our rookie draft. Crickets. Well as he played last season, he's got to get by LeSean McCoy, Karlos Williams and also beat out fifth-rounder Jonathan Williams. It's not that far-fetched: McCoy might struggle to stay healthy, Karlos Williams is/was overweight, Jonathan unproven. But roster spots are precious and knowing Gillislee probably won't be better than third-string makes it very tough to commit one to him. Still, I'll be monitoring him when camps open.

DeRunnya Wilson, Patriots. Tom Brady Glow, perhaps? Wilson wasn't drafted at all, and he's not listed on the team roster at NFL.com or Patriots.com. Initially I had no idea who he was, so I dug into it and saw there was a report he'd signed with the team as an undrafted free agent -- but that didn't actually happen. He's currently unsigned after a strong Mississippi State career. Anyway, he's been added in 2 percent of MFL leagues and is currently owned in 5 percent of those leagues. So if the guy signs somewhere, he'll have some dynasty fans.

As for players who have been added recently....

Dezmin Lewis, Bills. Lewis has got some positive OTA coverage, and in Buffalo, it's not out of the question he could be a No. 2 receiver -- not No. 3, but No. 2. I picked him up and will watch him in training camp. A 2015 seventh-rounder.

Zach Zenner, Lions. Somebody dropped Zenner, and I picked him up (then dropped him for Lewis). I have Ameer Abdullah, so having the possible big back complement to him seems worthwhile. Then again, we know they want Abdullah as their main back, and will use Theo Riddick in passing situations. Doesn't leave many snaps for Zenner.

It's possible none of these guys will amount to anything, but that's what many said about the likes of Victor Cruz and Alfred Morris. So you never know.
