Jaguars released Jonas Gray, and I think we’ve seen the last of him. He’s over a year removed from his big game at Indianapolis. Doesn’t seem to have the speed or elusiveness that teams are looking for. Maybe some teams kicks the tires, but I doubt we’ll see Gray on a 53-man roster during the regular season.
Goes down, however, as one of only eight undrafted free agents to run for 200 yards in an NFL game, and that’s something.
Oddly, one of the other seven also comes from Notre Dame – Ryan Grant. (Nice twist, and maybe I should have worked that into a trivia question.)
Of the backs on this list, two did it in playoff games – Grant and Timmy Smith.
