Question

Brandin Cooks went for 100 yards for New England against Jacksonville in the AFC Championship last year, and he went for 107 for the Rams at New Orleans on Sunday. Who are the only other two active players who’ve gone for 100-plus receiving yards in playoff games for two different teams? They both entered the league as first-round picks in the same year; one has played for five different teams.

Answer

Ted Ginn and Greg Olsen. Olsen caught 3 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown for the Bears in a playoff win over Seattle in January, 2011. After being traded to Carolina, he’s had two more 100-yard games in the postseason. Ginn caught 4 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown for New Orleans against Carolina last year. Five years ago, playing for the Panthers, Ginn went for 104 yards in a loss against San Francisco. The all-time king of this category is retired tight end Keith Jackson, who had 100-yard games for three different franchises – Eagles, Packers, Dolphins.
