I remember having some interest in Amon-Ra St. Brown in the offense. I just wish I had done a better job of drafting him onto my teams. He’s been a key guy late in the year.

The Lions didn’t select St. Brown until the fourth round, and it’s rare for rookie receivers selected in that range to do much of anything in their first season. But in this case, he was going to a team that didn’t have much else at the position. St. Brown caught a bunch of passes at Southern Cal, and as more of a possession-type guy who relies on route-running, you could see how he was positioned to be a regular contributor.

He’s playing well now.

St. Brown caught 35 passes in December, 2nd-most in the league.

Using PPR scoring, he’s been the 4th-most productive wide receiver in December.
