Cardinals offensive line impressive in opener

The Arizona Cardinals offensive line was impressive during its brief appearance in Saturday’s preseason opener. Quarterback CARSON PALMER was barely touched on his eight passes. Palmer noted that the protection was “great”, allowing him to get to his fifth read on a touchdown pass.

Palmer to return for 2017 season

Arizona quarterback CARSON PALMER, 37, will return to the Cardinals for the 2017 season. Palmer had contemplated retirement for the past month but ultimately decided that he was ready both physically and mentally to return. 2017 will be Palmer’s 15th season in the NFL.

Arians expects Palmer to return

Cardinals hire Leftwich as new quarterbacks coach

The Arizona Cardinals have named Byron Leftwich as their new quarterbacks coach for the 2017 season. Leftwich played 10 seasons in the NFL with four teams. He was also drafted in the first round of the 2003 NFL draft, in the same class as current Cardinals quarterback CARSON PALMER.
