Ravens WR Brown passes physical

Baltimore rookie wide receiver MARQUISE BROWN passed his training camp physical on Tuesday and appears close to getting his NFL career started. Brown has been recovering from Lisfranc foot surgery in February. He was the Ravens’ first-round pick and the first wide receiver taken in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Ravens rookie WR Brown not ready for start of camp

The Baltimore Ravens placed first-round wideout MARQUISE BROWN on the active/non-football injury list on Thursday. Brown is recovering from Lisfranc surgery in February. As for his timetable to return, Brown isMore reportedly progressing well and expected to be back at practice in a few weeks. Brown can be taken off the NFI list, which is reserved for players unable to practice for reasons unrelated to professional football, once he is medically cleared. Less

Factoid: Hollywood Brown

What do we make of Hollywood Brown? Neat little receiver. Looks like he could be another DeSean Jackson. But the Ravens are starting Lamar Jackson, and that has me worried about their ability to get him the ball.  more »

The Ravens drafted Marquise Brown in the first round, then went back to the well in the third with Miles Boykin. San Francisco did a similar double-dip, drafting Deebo Samuel atop the second and Jalen Hurd a round later. Ravens select first wide receiver in 2019 NFL Draft

The Baltimore Ravens selected Oklahoma wide receiver MARQUISE BROWN with the 25th pick in the first round of Thursday night’s NFL Draft. Brown was the first receiver off the board. Factoid: Campbell looks super

I will be interested to see where Parris Campbell goes in the draft. I haven’t heard a ton about him – I’m thinking early second round – but with his measurables he looks like he’s got a chance to be the best of the rookie receivers.   more »
