Rivers makes history, Gordon leaves with injury

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback PHILIP RIVERS set a single-game NFL record by completing his first 25 passes against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. While that probably didn't help fantasy owners much,More his 3 touchdown passes certainly did. Chargers sign Geno Smith

Rivers carves up Cowboys on Thanksgiving

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback PHILIP RIVERS feasted on the Dallas Cowboys in Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day game. Rivers was sharp all afternoon and finished with 434 yards passing and 3 touchdowns. Rivers’ favorite target, KEENAN ALLEN, caught 11 passes for a career-high 172 yards.

Rivers cleared to play Sunday

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback PHILIP RIVERS has been cleared from the NFL’s concussion protocol and will play on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Rivers was limited in practice on Wednesday before fully participating on Thursday and Friday.

Chargers coach thinks Rivers will play Sunday

Los Angeles Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said Thursday that he believes quarterback PHILIP RIVERS will be out of the NFL’s concussion protocol before Sunday and eligible to play against Buffalo. WhileMore Lynn added that the decision will be up to the doctors, fantasy owners should be encouraged that he is encouraged. If Rivers is not ready, backup KELLEN CLEMENS will get the start instead.
