Every Saturday morning, I'll take a quick look at all the week's games, offering my own take on what I think will happen, as well as touching on significant injury news since our Weekly came out. I'll check in every so often over the course of the day to answer questions, too.

A tough week for picking games. In a Survivor pool the top picks were the heavily favored Saints, and then? I opted for Baltimore and actually considered Tennessee. Tennessee! I suspect there will be carnage this week. On to the games, and as always, feel free to ask questions, and I will try to help out.

Patriots at Bills: I think the Bills are good enough to be competitive and maybe slow New England, but I still expect the Patriots to be up to the task. New England should mostly pass, Buffalo should mostly run, and we will see. Should be a good game. Blount is the only guy I absolutely wouldn't use among regular starters. I kind of like Sammy Watkins here, who should bounce back from last week's no-show.

Texans at Panthers: I wonder if the Texans will change starting quarterbacks every week. Carolina won't have Luke Kuechly, a plus for Alfred Blue, but he needs a lot of plusses. Hopkins, Olsen, Stewart, Newton....did I miss anyone you should remotely consider starting? Oh, the defenses. Have at it.

Cardinals at Bears: No Andre Ellington, and suddenly Alshon Jeffery is iffy. I have Chris Johnson in a couple of leagues. I'm not using him, but only because I feel a little better about other options. He should get most of the carries and could have a nice game, even if he isn't CJ2K anymore. With Jeffery, I'd avoid him if possible. Tough matchup anyway, and he's hurt. Arizona's passing game looks good. I could sit John Brown for CJ in one PPR league, the numbers are close. Thoughts?

Chargers at Bengals: Both teams healthy, neither defense elite, so start your starters. I would use Gordon in standard and Woodhead in PPR. Actually, that's true of Hill and Bernard, too, though Hill a better bet regardless. Considering a Philip Rivers jersey. He's been my dynasty QB forever, and I can't always wear the Favre jersey, right? Anyway. Like the Chargers to win.

Titans at Browns: I suspect the popular sentiment in Cleveland is to start Manziel, since he at least has a potential future, but McCown looks a lot more capable of running an NFL offense. Or would, if he weren't going to miss this game with a concussion. Manziel starts, and to me that means hands-off any Cleveland receiver (not that you were planning on using any). Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson are both deep-league options. Like Tennessee's defense, Mariota and Sankey seem viable, and Kendall Wright. Delanie Walker unlikely to play.

Lions at Vikings: Gimme some Ameer Abdullah and maybe even Joique Bell after the way the Vikings didn't defend the run in San Francisco last week. But I also think Calvin and Golden (sounds like a soap or shampoo or something) will bounce back. Because they have to. Not as sure about Adrian Peterson. Not that I'd bench him, I just think his big game is a week away. I like the Vikings passing game here.

Buccaneers at Saints: Saints offense should be great. Wouldn't use Spiller. Bucs, well, it's a bad defense they'll face, but I think Winston will struggle for a little while yet. Wary of expecting much out of this offense early on. When the Saints go up 20, the turnovers should be a' flowing. Evans isn't 100 percent, but I wouldn't bench him for just any warm body, either.

Falcons at Giants: Probable shootout, though I think I called one of those wrong a week ago. Here at least the offenses have lots of good players and the defenses are poor. Start em all. Uh, although I personally am avoiding the committee running backs if possible. I would use Jennings, who should be running angry/embarrassed this week, and seems to be the goal line back of choice. Although apparently they didn't want him to score, so, hmmm. "Give it to Jennings, he won't get in."

49ers at Steelers: Spent some time with a friend this week discussing the 49ers' new head coach. And even more time discussing Carlos Hyde, who you'll note we've ranked very favorably this week. Pittsburgh defense doesn't have a lot going for it. No Reggie Bush, making Hyde even more of a workhorse. Only one more game without LeVeon Bell, whew. Not buying the San Francisco defense just yet, so Steelers are starting for me. Except Markus Wheaton; he's got to prove it.

Rams at Washington: Rams-Seahawks was probably the best game I watched last week. St. Louis doesn't have much of an offensive line and their defense has some holes, but they've got a lot of playmakers and that might be enough for them to win a bunch of games. Especially this one. Tre Mason returns and I'd use him, but Benny Cunningham will handle all passing situations, and Washington is better defending the run than the pass. No DeSean Jackson, limiting your reasonable Washington choices to Jordan Reed (he's playing!), Pierre Garcon and Alfred Morris. Picked up Tavon Austin this week, but I'm leery of using him just yet.

Dolphins at Jaguars: Miami should win this game, but I'd be OK using T.J. Yeldon; Miami seems soft against the run, based on the way Alfred Morris gouged them last week. They've got Suh, but there are issues at middle linebacker. For Miami, you've got Miller, Landry and Cameron looking solid. And that Miami defense should have a great game. I was high on Allen Robinson entering August but he needs to prove it. In the exhibitions and Week 1, he didn't.

Ravens at Raiders: Ravens are my Survivor pick, as noted. Hate to pick road teams, but can't see them starting 0-2, and their defense strong enough to shut down Oakland. I have to start Latavius Murray in a standard league, who at least gets the advantage of playing close to full-time. I thought the last-minute pass to Steve Smith was slightly deflected last week; not going to call that a drop. Justin Forsett should also be good.

Cowboys at Eagles: Picked up Devin Street in dynasty but wouldn't want to actually use him. Terrance Williams, Jason Witten, Lance Dunbar, Cole Beasley; they're the ones who really get more looks with Dez out. For the Eagles, Bradford-Matthews-Murray definitely. Agholor, I'm benching him after he burned me last week, but he was out there a ton, so maybe. Players need to prove it to me at least once before I give them a second chance in my lineup. Should be a high-scoring game, like every Eagles game. I would pass on Randle and/or McFadden if I could.

Seahawks at Packers: Game of the Week, if for no other reason than they had that incredible playoff meeting last year, and Seattle probably already feels like they have their backs to the wall at 0-1. I would not hesitate to use any offensive players, and like Marshawn Lynch in particular. Jimmy Graham, too. Feels like an epic tilt coming, and I'm starting starters in this one. No significant injuries.

Jets at Colts: I like the Jets to be competitive here but ultimately think Andrew Luck will pull it out. I'm expecting T.Y. Hilton to sit out and Donte Moncrief to be good. To the guy who keeps offering me Frank Gore, no thank you. Great player for a long time but he's an old running back in a pass first offense and he's not going to have a great year. I wouldn't have drafted him as high as you erroneously did. Brandon Marshall will draw Vontae Davis most likely, a negative, but I'd take my chances. Chris Ivory should be very good.

Enjoy the games.
