Had a lousy week last week, like most of the field. It's an unfortunate truth of this competition that blowing one week makes it a lot harder to win. But guess what: I'm up to the challenge. The comeback begins this week.

Details were laid out here , so if you missed that column, check it out, and then come on back here.

The contest is totally free, and it's simple. Each week you pick the best 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 2 TEs and 2 PKs (scoring system: 1 point for 10 run/rec or 20 passing yards, 6 points for run/rec TDs, 4 points for passing TDs, straight NFL points for kickers). You will be playing alongside Fantasy Index writers and subscribers, and there will be weekly prizes for the reader whose team posts the best score. Here's my Week 5 lineup.

Quarterbacks: Tom Brady and Matt Ryan. Brady is in Dallas, and he's gonna light those guys up. I am aware that Dallas gets a couple of key defenders back this week, but I'm still not betting against him. Ryan is at home against a Washington defense that's soft against the pass, tough against the run. Like him.

Running Backs: Jamaal Charles and Arian Foster. Let's party like it's 2013. Charles should have a big game against the Bears. Foster is ready to take the training wheels off and have a big week against the Colts. I think Houston might win this game, and Foster will be why.

Wide Receivers: Julio Jones, Odell Beckham Jr. and DeAndre Hopkins. Jones, for the same reason as Ryan above. Beckham Jr., because I really like the Giants at home in primetime against the 49ers. Hopkins, because he's Houston's No. 1, Colts can't stop the pass and probably won't have Vontae Davis, and I like the idea of a big game from a guy catching passes from Ryan Mallett.

Tight ends: Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Gates.Gronkowski, because he's not on his bye. Gates, because he's back from suspension and the Chargers have a fine matchup against Pittsburgh.

Kickers: Stephen Gostkowski and Brandon McManus. You're not really reading why I pick kickers, are you? Gostkowski is the best on the best offense, McManus because I want a small piece of Denver at Oakland.

If this game required defenses, I'd be looking at the Giants and Kansas City, home and ready roll to against shaky offenses. The Ravens (vs. Browns) and Chargers (vs. Michael Vick) also appeal.

Good luck to the rest of you.
