We've talked about tight ends scoring against Oakland, and indeed, they've allowed a league-worst 10 TDs to the position. Just one off the pace is New Orleans (9), although that's not a special weakness for them; they've allowed 7 more TD passes than any other team, and are terrible covering every position.

Clive Walford can't face his own team and he can't face the Saints this weekend, so he'll get the next best thing. The Lions have allowed 8 TDs to tight ends, 3rd-worst in the league, and what's remarkable is they're doing it without facing many elite players. No Gronkowski, Eifert, or Olsen on the schedule. A couple of good players, but also a bunch of tight ends who for the most part aren't doing anything against anyone else.

Walford is Oakland's second tight end behind Mychal Rivera, but it's Walford who's scored in three of the last four weeks. Rivera hasn't scored all season.
