Every Saturday morning, I'll take a quick look at all the week's games, offering my own take on what I think will happen, as well as touching on significant injury news since our Weekly came out. I'll check in every so often over the course of the day to answer questions, too.

So Index Editor Bruce Taylor was testifying about fantasy games before the Washington state legislature yesterday, which is examining the whole gambling issue. I personally enjoy playing daily fantasy (even though here in New York I am presently prevented from playing one site, and the other seems sketchy; sometimes it blocks me, sometimes it doesn't).

There's a lot of money involved, so there's nothing surprising about this whole examination. My basic feeling is these games are fun, there's a lot more skill than chance involved, and people shouldn't be prevented from losing or winning money if that's how they want to spend their time. But whatever, a lot of complicated issues involved. On to the games.

Colts at Falcons: I get that people have been burned by Matt Ryan a few times, but I like him this week. Leonard Hankerson returns and should be decent. Still like Jacob Tamme this week, although not quite as much. Colts should try to get by with Frank Gore getting a lot of work. I'm using Coby Fleener somewhere, who was a popular target for Matt Hasselbeck in one of the earlier games the quarterback started.

Rams at Ravens: I don't think the Foles for Keenum switch will change who I do or don't want to use in this game. I think Todd Gurley is the only Ram you can really feel good about regardless. For Baltimore, Kamar Aiken should be busy. Tough run defense and Justin Forsett hasn't been great in most games. Kind of avoiding this game if possible.

Washington at Panthers: Washington has been better at home and against bad defenses, so the only player of there's I'd want to use here is Jordan Reed. Pretty much it. Carolina's offense, in contrast, should be very good. No Philly Brown.

Broncos at Bears: I'm in the camp that says Brock Osweiler makes a start or two or three, but Peyton Manning gets healthy and finishes the season. Weather might be a factor in this game, and Alshon Jeffery sounds very iffy to play. So I'm favoring running backs and defenses. Avoiding the also hurting Emmanuel Sanders. Probably no Matt Forte, so Jeremy Langford looks good.

Raiders at Lions: Matthew Stafford is my fill-in quarterback of the week against a Raiders defense that gives up mostly passing production. Latavius Murray looks great against a Lions run defense that's given up a ton of yards and touchdowns. High-scoring game. Somebody in the Survivor Pool I was in used the Raiders as his pick, which is bizarre. But then again I'm out and he's still in. I like Clive Walford to maybe score here, but he's still not a big part of the passing game. Eric Ebron looks great and I'm fine using Megatron and Golden Tate (to a lesser extent).

Jets at Texans: I like New York's offense, while being mindful that Houston shut down Cincinnati the other night. Regardless, I'm using Brandon Marshall, Chris Ivory, Eric Decker. For Houston, DeAndre Hopkins gets Darrelle Revis. I wouldn't sit him, but I'm not using him in the daily leagues I might not be able to play in any more.

Cowboys at Dolphins: Tony Romo returns, and I like the Dallas offense a whole lot more. Bryant, Witten, a slightly banged-up Darren McFadden. Matchup good for those guys, though McFadden might lose a few carries. Although, what are they saving him for, they have to win out, starting here. For Miami, Dallas defense has been pretty good most of the season. There's Lamar Miller and Jarvis Landry and Rishard Matthews, but none look great, only good.

Bucs at Eagles: No Sam Bradford or Ryan Mathews. Probably no Austin Seferian-Jenkins (this is getting ridiculous) or Vincent Jackson. Luke-warm on Doug Martin. For the Eagles, the absences make DeMarco Murray look better and Darren Sproles maybe usable in PPR. And Mike Evans, because Winston has to throw to somebody. Last year Jordan Matthews was best with Mark Sanchez in the lineup, for those waffling on the erratic Matthews.

Kansas City at Chargers: I'm bailing on San Diego's offense. I think they'll struggle a little here. Wouldn't use Melvin Gordon, for example. Stevie Johnson and Antonio Gates look good just because they'll be heavily targeted with the various injuries. No Malcom Floyd, probably no Ladarius Green. Danny Woodhead should be fine. I may be alone but I can see Kansas City sneaking up and stealing the AFC West from Denver.

Packers at Vikings: I was so thrilled when Rodgers slipped to me in the third round of one league. Ha ha, I said. Joke's on me. I'm benching him for Carson Palmer this week. I also cut Mason Crosby in multiple leagues. In favor of Blair Walsh. I think Adrian Peterson will be very good and Stefon Diggs is a decent choice. Maybe Green Bay rises up and surprises, but I'm buying the Mike Zimmer defense.

49ers at Seahawks: Strange things happen in the NFL all the time. But San Francisco scored 3 points in this matchup just a few weeks ago at home, so I don't see how it gets better. Garrett Celek; he's the top San Francisco option this week. Seriously. For Seattle, I'll sign off on Marshawn Lynch and maybe Russell Wilson. And their defense is far and away the top choice in every scoring format I can think of.

Bengals at Cardinals: The negative with this game being in primetime is that both of these teams were in primetime just last week. For the Bengals, Bernard yes and Hill no. Dalton, Eifert, Green. For the Cardinals, it sounds like Michael Floyd won't play and shouldn't be used. Unfortunate. As a result, John Brown should be used more and I'm comfortable recommending him. A Chris Johnson-Andre Ellington tandem; Johnson should be decent, Ellington usable in PPR. Am starting Palmer over Aaron Rodgers this week.

Bills at Patriots: Can't help but feel that that was the game New England should have lost last week, and now they're going to power on through the rest of the schedule. I suspect their offense will be fine against Buffalo, though I'll pass on LeGarrette Blount. Passing game fine. For Buffalo, I'll sign off on Sammy Watkins and maybe Charles Clay and not much else.

Enjoy the games.
