Kansas City has won five straight games and put itself in the driver's seat for a wildcard spot in the AFC. But they're in Oakland this week, and it's a game where maybe you want to shy away from several key players.

First and foremost, Charcandrick West (hamstring) is practicing fully today, so it sounds like he's ready to return from his injury. But Spencer Ware has played so well in his absence it's debatable which one will be starter, or get the most work.

The Kansas City Defense has been awesome lately, but Derek Carr has been remarkably difficult to sack or get turnovers against. He's been sacked only 12 times in 11 games, while throwing 6 interceptions. I've been rolling with the KC defense in a league for a couple of months now, but this week, I'm looking at Tennessee or another waiver-wire option.

Jeremy Maclin faces a Raiders defense that's soft defending the pass, but it's softest against tight ends, not wide receivers. Oakland has allowed only 5 TDs to wide receivers this season, which is a top-5 number.

Travis Kelce looks great. Oakland has allowed 11 TDs to tight ends, more than any other team. Alex Smith merits consideration, with Oakland just 29th defending the pass.

And don't forget Cairo Santos. Oakland has allowed more field goals and kicking points than any other team.

But there are definitely some options who are a little trickier to say, I'm definitely putting that player into a lineup.
