The Ravens drafted Louisiana Tech running back Kenneth Dixon in the fourth round of yesterday's draft. He was a highly productive college player, but he joins what seems to be a crowded running back situation in Baltimore. Or maybe cluttered is a better term.

Baltimore has a lot of running backs on its roster, but the bulk of them don't appear to be very good. Only one of them averaged even 4.0 yards per carry last season, and that's 30-year-old Justin Forsett -- whose 4.2 was more than yard off his previous year's pace of 5.4.

Dixon put up some nice numbers in college, scoring a whopping 87 TDs. He'll be starting at zero in Baltimore, but it's not exactly a decorated group of backs he'll be competing with.

The table below shows the yards per carry in 2015 of the other running backs on Baltimore's roster. For Trent Richardson, 2014 numbers for Indianapolis are shown, since he was on the street last season.

Dixon will be an intriguing guy to watch in the preseason.
