The Broncos didn't let C.J. Anderson get away in restricted free agency, and given his contract and the team's quarterback situation, he should be locked in as a featured back in what should be a run-heavy offense. But rookie Devontae Booker should also be a factor.

This story at ESPN.com speaks highly of the rookie's work in the offseason. Booker flashed at the team's minicamps and OTAs, according to Jeff Legwold. The team's fourth-round pick should quickly move past Ronnie Hillman (only re-signed after he drew little interest in free agency) for the backup job.

Legwold believes that "Booker's pass-catching ability will put him in third-down consideration quickly." While Anderson is a marginal receiver, Booker caught 80 passes for 624 yards and 2 TDs the last two years of college.

Rookie running backs often go early -- too early -- in fantasy drafts. If you're hoping to secure Booker, you might have to select him earlier than you want. But if you draft Anderson, it might be worth it reaching to protect that pick.
