It's not official; that will be an hour from now, when the team releases its official inactives. But early-morning reports from national football writers have LeSean McCoy (hamstring) expected to be active for today's Bills-Dolphins game.

That's the biggest of the news reports coming out this morning. The inactives list can be seen at this link, updated throughout the morning.

Minor other notes: no Dwayne Washington for Detroit, leaving Zach Zenner as the likely starter. Carson Palmer, Terrelle Pryor and Latavius Murray are all expected to play. Tyler Eifert should be active on a snap count. Jamaal Charles isn't expected to play. Most of that stuff you've known about for a couple of days now.

If McCoy is active, it probably won't be like the Will Fuller situation last week (where he was active but didn't get on the field). More likely McCoy plays, but gets a limited number of snaps. Guesswork, but Mike Gillislee will probably play more and be the superior fantasy option.

Presumably (?) the Bills know what they're doing. They know better than anyone else the actual condition of McCoy's hamstring. But they're opening themselves up to plenty of second-guessing if he plays, aggravates the injury, and misses additional time.

Assuming McCoy is active, I still think Gillislee is the superior play. Healthy, and more likely to get the bulk of the workload in this run-heavy offense.
