Buffalo won in New England in Week 4, but the Patriots now have Tom Brady back, and few expect the Bills to win their matchup in Buffalo this week. But just maybe they'll score some points in a losing effort. Tricky part is figuring out who will be out there.

LeSean McCoy has a hamstring injury and won't practice on Wednesday. Maybe he'll sit out, and Mike Gillislee will be the lead back. But the Bills pushed McCoy to play -- or he pushed to play, whatever -- and this game is similarly important in the AFC East. So maybe it won't be clear for a while if McCoy is going to play or not.

And is Gillislee healthy? He was limited in practice on Wednesday with a foot issue. So maybe the team needs to get McCoy on the field because the alternative might be Reggie Bush.

Buffalo also has Jonathan Williams, but has made no effort to get him involved yet.

At wide receiver, Robert Woods (foot) is expected to practice on a limited basis on Wednesday. So maybe he'll be available. It would be nice, with Marquise Goodwin in the concussion protocol, and the Bills looking at having to use Justin Hunter and Walt Powell as their main wide receivers otherwise.

Get ready for another week of will they or won't play for key Buffalo players against New England. Might be best just to make alternative plans for every lineup spot involving these running backs and wideouts.
