Every Saturday morning, I'll take a quick look at all the week's games, offering my own brief take on what I think will happen, as well as touching on significant injury news since our Weekly came out. I'll check in every so often over the course of the day to answer lineup questions, too.

What follows is a brief look at all the games with how I'd react in my own lineups to injury developments or other news. The official rankings are the ones in the Weekly. Those are the ones that subscribers are paying for, and should take precedence. But sometimes players are very close, and in those cases I'm glad to offer opinions on how I'd approach those situations. Sometimes I like certain players more or less than Ian, and sometimes I have different risk tolerance with injuries etc.

If a guy is 20 spots higher in the rankings, that's a question you probably don't need to ask. Trust the rankings. If I don't get to your question right away, fear not -- I'll get to it by the end of the day Saturday. Sunday morning might be too late, sorry; we try to post news if there's a surprise inactive/suspension etc. OK, on to the games.

Cardinals at Ravens: Ravens are favored by 2 TDs. Arizona defense is painfully shorthanded, so I think you can use Ingram, Jackson and Andrews -- though since Andrews is questionable, need to make certain he's active. Marquise Brown I'm less willing to risk; he's also hurt, and those big plays won't hit every week. Tough matchup for AZ, but they proved last week they can stumble around for three quarters and then make a game of it. Less likely here, wouldn't be excited to use the passing game. David Johnson is a full-time guy so he's playing for me (probably not on a lot of Index teams).

49ers at Bengals: I have Mixon and picked up Bernard this week. Not sure you can confidently use either guy. Seems like Mixon might play through his ankle injury but be limited. Would be easier to use Bernard, should Mixon be ruled out. Avoiding the situation personally. Expecting a Breida-Mostert committee, also not ideal. San Francisco wide receiver depth chart, similar. Boyd looks good and John Ross has some appeal, though hit or miss. Maybe San Francisco's defense is improved this year, making me a little wary of the Bengals.

Chargers at Lions: These weekly reports on Melvin Gordon annoy him. "Expected to show up at some point this season." Well yeah, he has to. Unless somebody gets hurt, he isn't going to be traded and isn't going to be featured for the Chargers when he reports. I want no part of him. Mike Williams is a gametime decision, avoid. Ekeler and Allen look great. No Hunter Henry. For the Lions, Golladay and Hockenson and Kerryon Johnson should be fine, though we noted the Chargers have done a nice job on Travis Kelce over the years. Lions might not have Taylor Decker, another negative for Detroit's passing game.

Vikings at Packers: I'm shying away from Green Bay's offense, though at least the game is at home, so maybe Rodgers and Jones manage some respectable production. But Cook and Thielen and perhaps Diggs are the only players I'd actually be comfortable using. Big game for early control of the NFC North. Green Bay might be without left tackle David Bakhtiari, that's a concern for the offense.

Jaguars at Texans: Houston's defense wasn't all that at New Orleans, and is weakest against the pass. But I'm a little wary of Gardner Minshew in his first NFL start. Currently planning to sit Westbrook for waiver claim Terry McLaurin, though it's a fluid situation. Wary of Leonard Fournette, too. For Houston, they're home and Watson's really good, so I'd be using him, obviously Hopkins. Less optimistic about Hyde-Duke, and Fuller (with Keke Coutee a possibility to play). Considered Houston in my survivor pool (instead I went with Carolina, oops...can buy back in the first three weeks).

Patriots at Dolphins: I'm expecting a limited role for Antonio Brown and am not using him. Although it'd be just like Bill Belichick to play him every single snap, get some reps against the league's sorriest team. I tend to think this will be a Sony Michel game and might sit down James White. Quite annoyed that Rex Burkhead is still a thing in this offense. Anyway, I have no interest in any Dolphins in this game. Wasn't much garbage-time production last week.

Bills at Giants: Giants have a sorry defense, so thumbs up on Josh Allen, who has a nice floor with the running potential. Since he can pass some, I'd consider John Brown and also Devin Singletary, more for his receiving work than running. For the Giants, uh, almost no one's playing. Evan Engram and Saquon Barkley should be great. Everyone else, just forget about them. Good Buffalo defense, too.

Seahawks at Steelers: I think Seattle will need to pass more than they'd prefer in this one, so I'm fond of Wilson, Lockett and perhaps Metcalf. For the Steelers, Conner and JuJu and Ben, Seattle secondary isn't what it was. I guess Vance McDonald, though I'm not a huge fan for some reason. Go with where he's ranked. Should be a good game, Steelers can't be as bad as they were in New England.

Colts at Titans: Don't really have a good read on the Titans, clearly. I do like the Colts defense, so I wouldn't go crazy on Titans besides Derrick Henry and perhaps Delanie Walker. The wideouts, well, quarterback is Mariota right? For the Colts, Titans have some ability to play defense, but I think you need to use Mack and Hilton off big weeks. Less sure of Ebron after his dud; he and Brissett might not have the connection that Luck did last year.

Cowboys at Washington: Cowboys offense was en fuego last week, and I'm not sure Washington's defense is much better than the Giants. Start 'em if you got em. I like Chris Thompson and McLaurin for Washington, and I guess Vernon Davis with Jordan Reed out again. If I had drafted Reed I might drop him. If he makes it back onto the field I'm not sure how long he'd stay there.

Kansas City at Raiders: Underestimated the Raiders last week and won't do it again against a suspect defense. I'm not sure I'd be that gung ho on Derek Carr, but Waller's in my lineup and so is Jacobs and also Tyrell Williams somewhere. For Kansas City, lots of possibilities for targets and chances. Kelce, Watkins, Damien Williams yes. Mecole Hardman riskier, but some chance he gets the Tyreek looks.

Bears at Broncos: Still annoyed by Denver's dud in Oakland last week, though at least I didn't sign Joe Flacco. Hard to get excited about any Broncos in this matchup. With Chicago, uh, same questions about Trubisky. Trey Burton didn't do enough last year for me to care if he plays or not. I'll sign off on Allen Robinson. Running back committee, no thanks. Lower-scoring game.

Saints at Rams: Higher-scoring game! Start 'em if you got 'em. I guess Malcolm Brown is the big question. He's not going to score 2 TDs every week. I'd rather use Gurley, but in deep leagues where my other options are also committee guys, Brown is in the discussion to start. Love all the key wideouts, though the hit or miss potential of guys like TreQuan Smith and Ted Ginn must be noted. I'd rather use them at home.

Eagles at Falcons: Higher-scoring game 2! I'm using all my Falcons and key Eagles: Wentz, Ertz, Jeffery, DJax. Running back committee, no thank you, next.

Browns at Jets: So, mono. Serious stuff. Don't recall a football player ever missing time due to it, but Darnold is a young guy. Sounds like at least LeVeon Bell is healthy, and Crowder and Anderson are viable against a suspect Cleveland secondary. For the Browns, I'm a big fan of Beckham on MNF at his old home stadium. Apparently Jets coordinator Gregg Williams isn't impressed. Williams can go climb a rope. I suspect the Browns offense looks good in this one, though, and they bounce back. Would be nicer if we had the Mayfield-Darnold angle to entertain us. Maybe next year. .

Feel free to ask questions, I'll get you opinions by the end of the day. Enjoy the games.
