Bears sign new kicker
The Chicago Bears signed kicker REDFORD JONES as they continue to explore options beyond CODY PARKEY. The team reportedly had multiple kickers try out, and they likely are not done looking at kickers. Parkey remains on the roster but it is unlikely that he will return next season.

NFL changes Parkey’s missed kick to block
The NFL officially changed Chicago kicker CODY PARKEY’s missed field goal to a blocked kick. Philadelphia defensive tackle TREYVON HESTER apparently got a finger on the ball that changed the trajectory enough that the kick hit the upright before dropping down to the crossbar and onto the field.
