Jaguars sign coach’s son, TE Pederson

The Jacksonville Jaguars signed tight end JOSH PEDERSON this week, the son of head coach Doug Pederson and a former undrafted free agent from back in 2021. Pederson played last seasonMore for the Houston Gamblers of the USFL, becoming the second USFL player to sign with an NFL team this offseason after kicker BRANDON AUBREY signed recently with the Dallas Cowboys. Pederson joins a Jaguars tight end room that currently has six fellow tight ends, including EVAN ENGRAM. Engram received the franchise tag this offseason following a career year for Jacksonville. Jaguars expected to use franchise tag on TE Engram

The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to place the franchise tag on tight end EVAN ENGRAM ahead of free agency to keep him in town for at least the 2023 NFL season.More The new league year and free agency are set to begin on March 15th. The franchise tag for tight ends is valued at just over $11 million. Engram and the Jaguars will have until July 15th to work out a long-term deal. Less

Jaguars would love to bring back TE Engram

Jacksonville general manager Trent Baalke said on Tuesday that the Jaguars would “love to have” tight end EVAN ENGRAM back with the team next season. After five rollercoaster seasons in NewMore York, Engram signed a one-year contract with Jacksonville last season and enjoyed a breakout campaign. Engram said last season was “the best year of my life”, lending hope for a possible return in 2023. Baalke, however, noted that after last off-season’s spending spree, he plans to be more frugal in free agency and focus on building the Jaguars core in the draft. Less

New York Giants tight end EVAN ENGRAM is healthy and relieved after an offseason of rehab that followed his December foot surgery to repair a partial Lisfranc tear. Engram had toMore adjust to a new rehab facility since the team facility was closed when COVID-19 restrictions started. Engram was not allowed to go into details about his health status, but he did give fantasy owners a hint when he said that he felt “great”. Giants place TE Engram on Injured Reserve

The New York Giants announced on Tuesday that tight end EVAN ENGRAM would be placed on injured reserve due to a foot injury, thus ending his 2019 season. Engram appeared in just eight games this season, finishing with 44 catches for 467 yards and 3 touchdowns.

TE Engram trending toward return
