Around the NFL: Two QBs enter, no QBs leave?
Virtual press conference are going on across the league, welcoming new players to teams via Skype and whatnot. The Bears had one yesterday for new quarterback Nick Foles. He'll be given every shot to unseat Mitchell Trubisky as the starter. It looks like a pretty low ceiling regardless. more »

Mitchell Trubisky is halfway through his third season. Can we now pencil him in as a lost cause? The quarterback drafted before Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson isn’t getting better; he’s getting worse. more »

Factoid: Mitchell Trubisky
Can the Bears get Mitchell Trubisky going again? He’s got a nice cast around him, but he’s been pretty iffy for the last half season. Looks like he could be holding back that offense. more »

Chicago head coach Matt Nagy says that quarterback MITCHELL TRUBISKY is more confident and locked-in than he was last season. Trubisky struggled at times last year reading defenses and getting through his progression. Nagy says that his young signal-caller is now playing off instincts.

Around the NFL: A Thanksgiving turkey?
Thanksgiving is that great time of year for getting family together, eating gluttonously, and watching lots of football. But the early game often gets shafted -- people are traveling or making chit-chat or peeling potatoes -- and it looks like injuries will rob us of some of the better players this year. more »

Factoid: Mitchell Trubisky, Part 2
I ran an item on Mitchell Trubisky the other day, showing the increase/decrease in passing yards from Year 1 to Year 2 for quarterbacks selected in the top 10. Factoid: Brave new world for Bears offense
The Bears have hired former Kansas City offensive coordinator Matt Nagy as their head coach. The 39-year-old replaces John Fox, and you wonder if Chicago isn't thinking it's landed the next Sean McVay, who replaced another NFL dinosaur in Jeff Fisher and quickly turned the Rams around. more »

Chicago running back JORDAN HOWARD finished Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens with career highs in both carries and yards. With rookie quarterback MITCHELL TRUBISKY unable to accomplish much in the passing game, Howard saved the day for both the Bears and his fantasy owners.

Trubisky era begins in Chicago
Chicago rookie quarterback MITCHELL TRUBISKY was far from perfect Monday night against Minnesota, but he showed more potential than former starter MIKE GLENNON. Trubisky threw his first NFL touchdown pass and… More was effective rolling out and fitting throws into tight windows. Unfortunately, Trubisky also committed two costly turnovers showing that he remains a work in progress. Less
